Sagaponack Bag - Knitting Pattern

This bag was the Level 1 design for Quince Quarterly Summer 2024

A simple silhouette provides the perfect canvas to play with color pairings. Linen stitch effortlessly blends the colors together as you progress from one color to the next. Although it may look complicated, you never use more than one color in a round.

 Featured Yarn: Willet by Quince & Co, (100% Texas Organic Cotton; 160yd [146m]/50g)

• 1 skein, color A (Approx 80yd [73m], color A)
• 1 skein, color B (Approx 57yd [52m], color B)
• 1 skein, color C (Approx 80yd [73m], color C)

Needles:

• One pair 16” circular needles in size US 4 (3.5mm) for casing.
• One pair 16” circular needles in size US US 6 (4mm) for bag body.
• 2 DPNs in size US 4 (3.5mm) for drawstrings.

Gauge: 

• 24 sts & 28 rnds = 4” in stockinette on smaller needles.
• 26 sts & 50 rnds = 4” in linen stitch on larger needles.
