Please remember that the sizes in this pattern are a guide based off industry standards provided by the Craft Yarn Council. All babies will grow at a different rate, and usually very quickly! When in doubt size up! Also keep in mind the length can easily be adjusted, but may require a bit more or less yardage.
Leg warmers are knit flat and seamed using mattress stitch. For the best results the leg warmers should fit with negative ease, that is be slightly smaller than your baby’s thigh circumference.
Sample sweater is shown in size 12-18 months on an 12-month old baby who also wears size 12-18 months in commercial brands. Leg warmers are the 12 month size.
